轻水谷主题公园位于英格兰北约克郡北史丹利村庄附近，占地面积达175英亩（约71万平方米）。由罗伯特•斯塔维利（Robert Staveley）创建，1969年轻水谷主题公园正式对游客开放，轻水谷从一个小农场景点逐渐转变成主题公园，现今平均每年吸引游客达325,000人次。

轻水谷主题公园里目前设有40多个游乐设施，适合各年龄段寻找刺激的游客，其中包括5个过山车和两个水上游乐设施。其中，最出名的当属是欧洲最长的云霄飞车——极致（The Ultimate），很多游客都是奔着“极致”而去的，体验那种心跳加速、失重而令人兴奋激动的独特奇妙感受。而2016年园内新增儿童室内游乐场以及咖啡厅供游客停留。公园里还有全英国最大的愤怒的小鸟活动中心，而到园内的鹰猎中心游客可以有机会看到超过35种的鸟类飞行表演。

黑珍珠号

黑珍珠号是以骷髅、海湾等元素为主题的海盗船，全高85英尺（约26米）是轻水谷主题公园的地标。与大多数游乐园海盗船不同的是，船身的前后摇摆依靠的不是传统方式的船下轮胎，而是直接在中间悬臂顶端上安装一个巨大的马达驱动船身的前后摇摆。除此以外，黑珍珠号还可以360度旋转，为游客带来独特的海盗船体验。当然，胆量够大的话还可以在高空中欣赏园内壮丽的景色。

极致

极致过山车至今仍是欧洲最长的云霄飞车，最高点离地107英尺（约33米），全程6分钟，时而迅猛俯冲，时而盘旋上升越上云霄，时而惊险反转、时而急速骤降……很多游客到轻水谷主题公园游玩都是奔着“极致”而去的，体验那种心跳加速、失重而令人兴奋激动的独特奇妙感受。游客如果想体验最极致恐怖刺激体验，列车最后一排视为不二之选。

旋转飞椅

旋转飞椅算是老少咸宜的陆地游乐项目了。游客乘坐在垂挂的吊椅上，随着设备的运转而徐徐升起，仿佛展翅高飞，翱翔于天际，带你在空中不断高低变幻飞驰，畅享速度与激情！或是如同置身于波涛汹涌的大海中，惊险刺激。

飞天骆驼

不用再执着于阿拉丁与他的飞毯，因为轻水谷主题公园里面的骆驼会飞了！与其他同类设备不同的是，游客可以根据自己的需要调整骆驼的飞行高度，只需按下座位上的按钮，游客便可在飞行的过程中随意调整飞行高度，回旋飞舞。如今飞天骆驼十只骆驼正随时待命，只等游客一声令下跃上半空，为游客带来乐趣无穷的飞行体验。

瓢虫过山车

瓢虫过山车可以说得上是入门级别的过山车。红色的卡通小瓢虫造型受到人们的喜爱，特别是小朋友的喜爱。但是千万不要被小瓢虫的可爱外表所迷惑，当你坐在前排时，瓢虫过山车绝对要比你想象中的更快、更刺激！坐上瓢虫过山车穿梭于曲折、迂回的轨道上，畅享与小瓢虫精彩纷呈的过山车之旅！

THE BLACK PEARL

The Black Pearl forms the centrepiece of our landmark Skeleton Cove pirate-themed area and is unusual amongst modern pirate ships in that it rotates through 360 degrees. The Black Pearl provides awesome views of the park (for those who are brave enough to keep their eyes open) and a very unique ride experience.

Visible from most areas of the park, this 85 foot attraction is one of only a handful of rides within Lightwater Valley that actually turns you fully upside down. Having more than a passing resemblance to a traditional Pirate Ship, this boat shaped ride swings back and forth, not by the traditional way of a set of tyres below the boat, but with a huge, powerful motor at the top of the central arm.

As the ride picks up momentum, she turns a full 360 degrees before doing the same in reverse.

THE ULTIMATE

The Ultimate is Lightwater Valley’s signature ride and provides a thrilling 1.5 mile cocktail of speed, cornering and airtime. Unique amongst modern day attractions, The Ultimate remains the longest roller coaster in Europe with a ride time approaching six minutes. The Ultimate has 2 lift hills of 102ft and 107ft respectively, which both offer awesome views of the park and epic amounts of both anticipation and airtime. The first half of the ride is widely regarded as the smoothest section, with the second half of the ride (between second lift and the station) providing a truly insane ride experience as the carriage hurtles through some of our deepest and darkest forest en route back to the station.

SKYRIDER

A beautifully decorated attraction, many guests refer to Skyrider as the ‘chair swings’, which is a very accurate and fitting description. Offering a far superior ride experience than many customers expect, Skyrider is a firm favourite with thrill seekers of all ages, providing an awesome mix of speed, height and air time.

FLYING CAMELS

Forget Aladdin and his flying carpets, take a ride on one of Lightwater Valley's Flying Camels! This interactive carousel ride enables passengers to choose the height at which they fly, which adds to the fun-packed experience for our younger guests.

Guests board one of ten camels and wait for their journey to begin, which starts slowly with a few rotations of the surrounding area before the interactive flight mode is enabled. To take their camel higher, guests simply press the button located in front of them (and release to lower).

THE LADYBIRD

Our Ladybird coaster has introduced many a junior thrill-seeker to the fantastic sensation of having the wind in their hair as they dip, twist and turn their way around our ladybird track! Don’t be fooled though as this ride is a little faster and scarier than you think when you’re sitting in the front seat! Many of our Ladybird riders graduate to the larger rides when they’ve reached the required height measurement, with this being a great introduction to the roller coasting world.
